Lost item in a taxi?

Taksi Helsinki handles lost and found items centrally by phone. Proceed as follows:

1. Call the Taksi Helsinki service center at 0100 0700
   (call price €2.96/phone + €1.54/min + local network/mobile network charges)
2. Provide the following information:
   • time and route of the taxi trip
   • description of the lost item
   • your contact information.
3. If you have a receipt:
   • it will show which taxi was involved
   • the receipt may have a direct phone number for the car
   • for card payments, the name of the company that is being charged can be found in your account information.

Where are lost items delivered?

Taksi Helsinki taxis do not have their own lost property office. If the customer cannot be reached, the drivers will deliver the items left in the car to the lost property office. These include:

• Police Lost and Found Office (Pasila)

• Finnish Lost and Found Point (Kamppi)
  • tel. 0600 04401 (Mon-Fri 7 am–9 pm Sat 9 am–6 pm Sun 12 pm–6 pm)
• Finnish Lost and Found Service/HSL (Rautatieasema, Helsinki)
  • tel. 0600 91006 (Mon-Fri 10 am–6 pm, Sat 10 am–4 pm)
