What is a Taksi Helsinki payment card?
The Taksi Helsinki payment card is intended for companies and associations.
The cards are magnetic-strip payment cards that you can use to pay for taxi fares only.
The Taksi Helsinki payment card is available not only as an ongoing payment card aimed at regular users, but also as a single-use card for occasional users (e.g. for a company’s guest(s) or specific functions).
Contracts must be drawn up and signed in the same way as for other credit card companies.
Advantages of the card
You can only use the card to pay taxi fares, all payment information comes from the taxi meter. You will be sent a detailed report of journeys to make monitoring and accounting easier. The only costs are manufacturing costs.
Scope of use
The Taksi Helsinki payment card can be used as a payment method in Taksi Helsinki’s taxis. Whenever you get into a taxi, it’s a good idea to check that the taxi you’re in accepts the card as a method of payment.
Invoicing and reporting
You can choose to receive electronic or paper invoices. If the customer wishes, we can send a regular monthly report on their taxi journeys.
Costs
Unlike most credit card systems where the customer or payment recipient is charged a fee, there are no fees to the customer or driver when using a Taksi Helsinki payment card. The customer only pays a nominal manufacturing fee and their fare. An itemised breakdown is sent with the invoice every two weeks.
