Kela reimburses taxi journeys for people who, due to their health condition or poor traffic conditions, need assistance with transportation to and from healthcare. To receive compensation, the customer must order a taxi from a regional Kela order number.

The Kela taxi booking service is open 24 hours a day.

Taxi rides reimbursed by Kela must be ordered from the regional order number well in advance and, if possible, no later than the day before the trip. To speed up the Kela taxi booking process please have your social security number and address details to hand.
